Welcome to Physics 9B for fall 2011!

Please take a look at the introductory documents there before our first
lecture on Thursday. In particular, the link "Syllabus" contains quite a
bit of information about the course. Also, please take a look at the
link "Readings", where you will find a reading assignment for Thursday.

Be sure to note the link giving information on the labs.

"Clickers" for the Interwrite PRS classroom response system are required
for the course. You can purchase one in the bookstore. The clickers
document explains the reasons for using them and how they improve learning.

You should be registered in a 9B discussion section and a lab. You must
go to lab on the first day. Labs will begin meeting in the week of Sep. 26 
(not on Sep. 22, 23). If you wish to make any changes to your lab,
discussion section, or lecture section, you must obtain a PTA from the
lab instructor. I do not have PTAs and therefore cannot give you one. If
you attempt to make any changes to your schedule without a PTA, you will
be automatically dropped from the course.
